Kevin H. Boyd

Kevin H. Boyd was born in Stevenston, a working-class town on the west coast of Scotland in 1965. Born with a facial defect of a cleft pallette and a hair lip, he spent his early years having his uniqueness pointed out to him on a regular basis and so he knew deep down there must be something more to life than just being accepted by the group thinking of his fellow Scotsmen.

Kevin, at the age of 19, did manage to escape from his childhood home in Irvine, Scotland to the cultural hub of expansive thinking that is Brighton, on the south coast of England.

Kevin begin his working life as a computer programmer in the newly emerging world of digital media. He worked on a whole range of emerging technologies including interactive video products in the 1980s, the Internet in the 1990s and mobile phones in the 2000s.

Kevin is also father to Simon, who he believes will, one day, set the world alight with his own creative vision and entrepeneurial spirit.

Kevin's most outrageous venture to date was when he spent 4 years trying to make it in the British Indie Film Industry, culminating in attending the Cannes Film Festival in 2008 with the short film The Americano, which didn't make him famous or rich, and so he decided to put that dream back on the shelf, for now...

Kevin has spent most of his life trying to figure out a better, smarter and more creative way to be in this world and he now feels that its time to share with you what he has learned in this book.

About "The Job Delusion":

"How does a guy like me, with all my limited resources and, even worse, my limiting beliefs, escape my day job and become financially free?"

Kevin asked himself this question in 2006. This book is the story of what happened in the following 6 years. It is the story of a regular guy, working in IT, who escaped the 9 to 5 and found a new way to live.

Kevin wants to share with you his journey towards becoming financially and spiritually free so that you can make the same journey.

The first part of the journey is overcoming one's limiting beliefs. Kevin describes how he achieved this and acquired a 'millionaire mind' through meditation, anchoring, neuro-linguistic programming, hypnotherapy and changing his unconscious money blueprint.

The second part of the journey involves acquiring assets which return a passive income. Kevin describes in detail how he achieved this through the property market. Kevin also outlines other ways in which he has successfully generated a passive income for himself and provides plenty of ideas for how you can do the same.

The final part of the journey involves what you do with your life when you become financially free. You can then discover a deeper sense of self and purpose. Kevin describes how he came to understand this through voluntary work, how he found his true self and how he achieved his lifetime ambition.

Join Kevin on his journey towards financial and spiritual freedom and discover how you too could achieve the same.
